About Joyoga

Joyoga is beginning its 10th year and is a place to learn the versatility of yoga with safety. Our studio is clean and the classes are small to enable everyone the space they need and to be able to learn the correct alignments.

We recognize that all bodies are different and some may need to modify postures in yoga.  We are NOT ABOUT forcing your body in a pose, but allowing your body to feel the pose with modifications and correct alignment. Our motto is "listen to your body".  It will be the student's responsibility to let the instructor know if there is anything medical to be aware of.  Each student will be required to fill out a registration form and sign a waiver before beginning classes. I look forward to meeting you!

Vision

To bring the healing benefits of yoga to my local adult community and to include populations that may have never seen yoga as an option.

Mission

The Joyoga mission is to help all students experience yoga in a safe place and to learn the connection of body, breath and spirit. I have always believed that the body is healthy when our physical, mental and spiritual components are balanced. Yoga actually is the yoking of all three and affects the health of our whole being. I have heard people say, "I could never do yoga." However, I know that all people at any age are able to benefit from this practice and bring balance into their lives.

Our Team

Teachers who are added will have the same vision and care for each student.
