Twisted Roots
September 11, 2017
While visiting Canada, I saw the twisted root structure of a tree by Lake Louise. I could tell it had been through many storms and erosion. It reminded me of how we must grip to our life-giving faith when troubles comes. Each trial or loss causes deeper root growth of hope and faith.
A spiritual warrior looks at life’s problems as an opportunity to serve others. I know this doesn’t happen immediately. However, after healing begins, the Lord is always faithful to bring someone into our life that needs to be encouraged by what we just went through. May we be His hands and feet in service allowing His light and love to reach out to those who are hurting.
