Some Benefits of Solitude

March 28, 2020

One positive I can think of coming from this corona virus scare is a chance to unhook more from technology and to find a time daily to take a walk in nature. A 30 min walk outside daily can help you destress and keep you from depression.

Like the cardinal, it is sometimes good to be alone to soak in our surroundings and to listen to our Creator.

It allows you to get back in touch with yourself, hear the sounds of nature, smell the fresh rain and see the wild flowers and trees blooming.  Spiritually it allows you to talk to the Lord and you may be more sensitive to his leading.
