Going Inward

May 13, 2018

In our western culture, we tend to live by feelings.  We have not learned how to go inward and find out what is causing the negative feelings we have, and we haven’t learned to use the breath when we recognize these negative feelings and let them go.  This is not an easy practice, but we all would benefit to study ourselves a bit more and notice what is causing the negativity in our life.  It may be anger, discontentment, envy, jealousy, maliciousness.

The Scriptures state that we speak from our hearts and our actions come from our hearts. Therefore, maybe we should take a deeper look at our hearts so we can weed out the negative and bloom into what our Creator would have us be, seeing the world through His eyes.
